Beatrice is a girl of action rather than words, and while she's not really involved in anything right now, she's the sort of person who could be. She's practical and quietly competent, good at getting things done. She's a no-nonsense sort of girl all around: She's basically been the reliable person in the background her entire life, and it's suited her just fine. With her naturally wary nature and lack of social experience she's not exactly the easiest person to talk to, preferring to watch rather than get involved, but she's more than willing to try.
Background-wise, she's a District 13 girl born and bred, a middle child from a mining family with five children (four girls, one boy). She's used to taking care of her younger siblings (which has helped develop some interesting protective instincts for anyone in need) but decided it made more sense to start contributing income to the family so she began working in the graphite mines. With the recent announcements, Bea's suspiciousness has increased and she's becoming more and more on guard.
